San Antonio

We spent the last summer in San Antonio, it was fun to see the sights and explore the area. It was our hottest summer, much worse than Puerto Rico and FL. It was over 100* most days with 80% humidity-killer! The economy did affect summer sales, but overall it was still a successful summer.

The Alamo

We took a carriage ride around the Alamo to
see the sights of the down town area.

Passing the time away...

Marshall got heat rash from playing outside so we had to
get creative with indoor activities over the summer.

The girls waiting for their nails to dry
Making fathers day cards and apparently hoping to go to the pool
The kids all got Josh's beautiful long lashes
that I love to put mascara on!

July 4th

Gracy didnt' like the fireworks so much
Marshal tried to blow them out
Natural Bridge Caverns

I thought we would spend a nice cool day in the caves where
the temp stays around 68, but the humidity was crazy! We were all
soaking wet when we left, and it was a not so refreshing day in the caves.

It is tough to get a good family shot with all the little ones

Maddy Bailey Marshal Gracy
Panning for gold with uncle Dan
Grandma Tammy

The last week in TX Heidi's mom came to visit,
they saw all the sights and had a great time.

The Children's museum

We went around to six different missions

The Riverwalk

Maddy turns 6!!!

and I cannot believe Maddy is 6...Seems like just yesterday she was only two and we would drag her around Chicago and everyone thought she was my daughter. I miss you guys!

It's so nice not seeing that gross pic of me every time I look at your blog. The girls' eyelashes look fake. Maddy looks like a showgirl in the little pilot outfit. I haven't seen these pics-so cute.
